曲者じゃ！出会え、出会え！！

　またまたやってきました、このシリーズ。今回はLos Toreros Muertos（ロス・トレロス・ムエルトス）です。「死んだ闘牛士達」という名前のこのバンド（ヴォーカル、ベース、キーボードの３人組）、一応コミック・バンドになるのでしょうか？なかなかシニカルと言うか変な歌詞で、思わず笑ってしまいます。でも、ライブパフォーマンスは、至って普通でした。

On the desk/Manolito「オン・ザ・デスク〜マノリート」
スペイン人は、日本人と同じくらい英語が苦手です。街中で英語で話しかけても、そそくさと逃げられることも多いです。この曲は題名の通り、英語で歌っていますが、動詞の活用や前置詞の間違いを訂正して行くという内容で、その後は言葉遊びです。とは言いながら、結構おしゃれな曲です。そして幼なじみを歌った「マノリート」に続きます。珍しく英語なので、「On the desk」の歌詞を載せておきます。ブリッジの動詞の活用をそのまま歌詞にしたところなど最高です。

「私の黄色い水」バルで４０杯以上ビールを飲んで、オシッコをしたら、下水管から川に流れて、野原に撒かれて、海に出て、蒸発して雲になり、雨となって戻ってくると言う、オシッコの一生を歌った壮大な曲。彼らのヒット曲の一つです。
